Last week, I had the double fortune to be vacationing in Quepos Costa Rica and receiving the best therapeutic massage ever at Spa Uno, My therapist maintained a perfect pressure for my deep tissue massage all the while incorporating never before felt touches/rhythms with her finger tips. Also, the use of some simple fabrics and fresh scents enhanced my overall theraputic experience. The final part of the session ended with a type of scrub to my ankles and feet followed by a deliciously warn rinse mimicking a pedicure treatment.

The Spa setting is elegantly simple in design. It is spacious and airy with just the perfect amount of the intense tropic colors. The receptionist Nicole is delightful and helpful; for example, getting me a Taxi to return to my son's home and informing the driver of my destination.

I just wanted to email you and tell you that I handed out all of the gifts that I picked up from the spa and they were all a huge success! Everyone has been gushing over the products and I can't get enough of my Lemon Cleansing Meringue and Ylang Ylang Miracle Cream!!! I am so glad that I stocked up on our visit:)

Hola soy tica, vivo en San Jose.Tengo dos años de visitar Manuel Antonio porque decubrí el Spa Uno y los Raw Botanicals. Son excelentes, de verdad los recomiendo sobre todo la línea para la cara y el cabello. Gracias de verdad y sigan adelante. Felicidades!!!!!!!!

The minute my husband and I stepped into the spa, we knew we had picked the right place. You have to leave your shoes outside. We were offered a glass of guanabana juice, which was cold and refreshing. We had 80 minutes of pure bliss...a chocolate mint scrub that smelled good enough to eat, then a traditional massage with mango butter for the rest of the time. We each had tiny little massage therapists who were MUCH stronger than they looked. We were able to enjoy our massages outside on the canopy deck with the sounds of the birds and monkeys in the background. As always, I was sad when the massage ended. A fantastic splurge for vacation! And super convenient, as it was just across the street from our hotel, Byblos.
